Why The Palms is the Best Las Vegas Destination

The Palms Las Vegas

Have you ever been to the Palms Casino Resort? Boasting 1200 beautiful guest rooms and 95,000 square feet of gaming, the Palms has long been a Las Vegas icon. Recently having undergone a multi-million dollar renovation, the iconic three towered resort, residing on nearly 30 acres of prime Las Vegas real estate, is more destination-worthy than ever.

As part of the resort’s facelift, there are plenty of updates to long-beloved features, plus new attractions and venues, including Camden Cocktail Lounge. There’s so much more to enjoy than just your accommodations and gaming! Here are just a few of the reasons why The Palms is the best Vegas destination:

1. Camden Cocktail Lounge. Well, obvi.

Right on the base level of resort resides Camden Cocktail Lounge.

Camden Cocktail Lounge is dedicated to the art of mixology, and trust us, you’ve never seen a cocktail list like this! Examples of our offerings, which are inspired by music and culture, include the “Great Godfather,” inspired by James Brown, which is made with Bulleit Bourbon, amaretto, meletti amaro, and served with a blood orange sphere. If you’re feeling like something bright and a little sweet, you may opt for the “Sorbetto and Bubbles” cocktail, which will make you feel like you’re caught inside a “Champagne Supernova” like the famous Oasis song. It’s made with Casamigos Blanco Tequila, St. Germain, lemon sorbet, raspberry sorbet, and rose champagne.

With beautiful and moody decor and a stellar entertainment calendar, Camden Cocktail Lounge is a must-visit destination while you’re at the Palms.

2. Apex Social Club.

Located on the 55th floor of the resort, Apex Social Club is Camden’s sister venue, also brought to you by the talents at Clique Hospitality Group in collaboration with nightlife impresarios Ryan Labbe and Jason “JRoc” Craig. It is the shimmering jewel of the Palms, and boasts what are undoubtedly some of the best views in Las Vegas. From a unique indoor-outdoor space, you’ll enjoy 360 degree views of the city; just try to resist Instagramming!

But Apex doesn’t just offer a pretty view. The beautifully appointed interior space is punctuated with world class art and stylish decor. From a beautiful bar, talented bartenders serve up incredible drinks. Additionally, the venue features an incredible entertainment roster; take a look at the upcoming calendar of events here. Whether you’re ordering up bottle service or taking in a show, it’s bound to be an evening that will heighten your senses.

3. Pearl Theater.

This iconic theater is a three level venue for concerts and events which can seat up to 2500 people. It’s long been considered a premier concert theater in Las Vegas. With a unique configuration wherein the stage is set closely to the floor and even the furthest seating areas are less than 150 feet from the stage, this theater offers an incredible chance to experience intimate concerts with your favorite performers, even with a packed house. The theater includes plenty of private skyboxes, which feature private lounges, bars, seating areas, and restrooms. Excellent sound quality rounds out what promises to make an amazing concert experience.

The Pearl Theater attracts all manner of international acts; just a few of the upcoming shows include Halsey in July, Charlie Puth in August, and Alanis Morissette in September.

4. Palms Place Pool.

This is no mere hotel pool. Located on the sixth floor, this is more like an oasis right in the center of Las Vegas! As you emerge from the elevator, you’ll find an incredible 50,000 square foot retreat featuring sleek, upscale spa-like stylings such as waterfalls, stone fireplaces, hot tubs, stone gardens, and tropical flowers. You truly have to see it to believe it!

To heighten your luxuriance, you can also make cabana reservations so that you can soak up the zen vibes of the Palms Place Pool in style.

5. Eat incredible food.

Hey, you gotta eat. But like everything else at the Palms Casino Resort, the dining options are far from ordinary.

For an upscale dining experience, consider newcomer Scotch 80 Prime. Las Vegas charm meets impeccable chef creations at this high end restaurant. Start your dinner with the indulgent Ribeye Ravioli, featuring roasted bone marrow, braised swiss chard, pickled mushrooms, and Scotch rubbed jerky; continue your meal with an entree such as Sea Scallops, which are sautéed, and served with spring corn purée, squash blossoms, parsnips, and Mexican white shrimp; or maybe you’ll go for a prime aged steak such as the 26 ounce Porterhouse. Scotch 80 Prime also focuses on rare and vintage whiskies from Scotland.

As you can see, there are many reasons to make the Palms Casino Resort a destination on your next trip to Las Vegas! At Camden Cocktail Lounge, we hope to see you at the resort soon so that you can enjoy the best of Las Vegas nightlife, relaxation, gaming, and culture!
